PC Farouk Abubakar , attached to Kingston Borough, was charged with misconduct in public office on Thursday (August 9) after his arrest on October 20 last year. The charge followed allegations that the officer had sent inappropriate texts and an image from his mobile phone to a vulnerable female whom he had met while on duty.
